200 Hectares of Forest to Plant in Tbilisi
Tbilisi Deputy Mayor, Andria Basilaia noted, that 200 hectares of forest will be planted on several problematic slopes in Tbilisi.
"The forest will be planted on the Tbilisi sea, Makhata, Nutsubidze, Joqia, and Mtatsminda slopes.
We are actively using urban spaces, road dividers and through greening, we try to transform them into more environmentally friendly spaces. According to the districts, 300,000 green plants will be planted in the common green areas. Our goal is to not have any yard without a park, that is the reason why we planned to arrange 1000 parks in the city.", declared Andria Basilaia.
