Zodi's Georgian Stones Presented at the International Exhibition of Natural Stones in Verona
Natural stones mined and produced in Georgia were presented at the international stone exhibition Marmomac 2022 held in the Italian city of Verona.
Marmomac exhibition is a leading event in the natural stone industry, where different types of natural stones from 47 countries are exhibited. Georgian stones were exhibited at the Verona exhibition for the first time this year in cooperation with Zodi and Colliers Georgia Mining & Minerals.
"At the exhibition and sale, we presented Georgian paving stones - limestone, granite and basalt. Special attention was paid to the interior and exterior facing limestone, the quality and visual appeal of which is attractive to the world's leading brands in the field of stone processing. For several months, Georgian limestone has been exported to different countries with the efforts of Zodi and Colliers MMS. Our goal is to expand export markets, as well as to constantly improve the quality of products and make it equal to the best standards, which Zodi provides in all phases of its own production. Participation in such events helps us to increase the awareness of our products and to expand the scale of production" - said Zaur Gabaidze, the founder of Zodi.
The partnership between Zodi and Colliers MMS in the export direction of Georgian stones started a few months ago. Products are exported to the markets of Italy, Israel and the Gulf countries.
"Besides presenting the stones at the exhibition, we have completed several ongoing negotiations with American, Belgian, Italian and Chinese producers. Australia and Singapore are also considered potential export countries in the near future. We hope that the Georgian products manufactured by Zodi will successfully gain a place in such highly competitive international markets" - Maia Zavrashvili, managing partner of Colliers Georgia Mining & Minerals.
