Wool Processing Factory to Open in Akhmeta

Bank of Georgia continues to support local businesses.

This time, a wool processing factory is opened in Akhmeta supported by Bank of Georgia.

The factory operates successfully and if 20-25 tons of wool was processed before, now this amount is increased to 60-70 tons. It is also worth mentioning, that the factory promotes the development of sheep-breeding. , since it uses local wool for the production and shepherds do not have to seek for wool market. 

The main customers of the factory are specialized stores, vocational schools, private studios and individuals.

The total price of the investment is 160,000. Bank of Georgia allocated 52,000 GEL for financing this project. The factory currently employs 10 people.
