Wine Factory Built in Village of Khashmi Supported

Bank of Georgia continues to support the wine sector. In cooperation with the Bank of Georgia, the wine factory was built in the village of Khashmi. The company produces 9 types of wines, which are Saperavi of Khashmi, Rkatsiteli Qvevri, Muluzani, Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, Kindzmarauli, Green Qvevri, Saperavi Qvevri, Rkatsiteli - Green Qvevri.
 
Apart from wine production, the company built a hotel and a wine veranda which accommodates 150 people. The complex is located on a total of 5,000 square meters.
The project started in 2019 and was completed in 1 year. Today, the company actively sells wine and the hotel is ready to receive the guests. The financial support of the project from the Bank of Georgia amounted to 2 million USD. The company currently employs up to 30 people.
