Volvo Car Caucasus Wins VOLVO CARS EXCELLENCE CLUB Award
"Volvo Car Caucasus" has earned international recognition at the annual Volvo Cars EMEA business conference held in Bucharest.
The event, which was attended by around 50 importers and about 200 guests, discussed the Swedish brand's 2023 strategy, electrification plans, and various business development issues.
The conference concluded with an award ceremony, where Georgia's representative received the winner's award personally from the CEO of Volvo Cars EMEA, Jesus Fernandez de Mesa.
"Volvo Car Caucasus" surpassed more experienced competitors worldwide by demonstrating outstanding results in all criteria, such as executing the 2022 sales plan, increasing market share, fully complying with Volvo Cars global standards, utilizing different systems, and offering diverse customer feedback and services.
Rusudan Dzhelidze, Commercial Director of "Volvo Car Caucasus," stated that the Excellence Club award seemed unattainable two years ago, given the competition from more experienced importers. However, by winning the award, "Volvo Car Caucasus" has proven that its operations align with Swedish standards and work principles. The Excellence Club award is a direct indicator of success, positioning the Georgian representation on the world map of Volvo as a successful business.
For nearly four years, "Volvo Car Caucasus" has operated in compliance with Swedish standards and demonstrated a high level of digitization. In 2021, the company launched the first online store in the region, allowing users to select and purchase cars through the website.
"Volvo Car Caucasus" has successfully managed hundreds of business processes, implemented a CRM system, a customer satisfaction platform, and an app allowing Volvo owners to remotely control their vehicles. The company plans to open two new VRE (Volvo Retail Experience) showrooms in Tbilisi and Baku in the third quarter of 2023.
Aiming to win the Excellence Club title every year and secure a prominent position on the global map of Volvo, "Volvo Car Caucasus" is prepared for full digitization and electrification, with planned marketing activities expected to boost brand awareness and sales.
"Volvo Car Caucasus," part of "Tegeta Holding," has operated in the Georgian market since 2019 as the exclusive importer of premium-class cars throughout Transcaucasia and Central Asia. The company offers SUVs, sedans, and station wagons, including plug-in hybrids and the latest internal combustion engine models. Customers can also take advantage of the company's digital store, a 360-degree system for remotely evaluating cars on the company's website, and a configurator to assemble their desired model.
