Vocational College Adapted to the Needs of Region Opens in Khashuri

Vocational educational institution "Kartli" will be opened in the autumn of this year in Khashuri municipality, which plans to accept 200 students from the new academic year.

As bm.ge was told by the college administration, the works have been completed and the yard is being paved at this stage.

The project, the total cost of which is more than 9 million GEL, is implemented by the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency.

According to the representatives of the college, the three-story building will be equipped with modern training spaces, high-tech workshops and an open sports field of a modern standard. The college will be fully adapted for people with disabilities.

In addition, the college administration says that studying in "Kartli" will be mostly free, but at this stage they cannot specify who will be eligible for it.

"In Khashuri the college "Kartli" is 100% founded by the state; Education will be mostly free. The educational institution will be opened in the fall of this year. At this stage, the process of developing the programs is underway, in September, detailed information on the registration-admission procedures of professional directions and persons interested in learning will be announced.

College "Kartli" will become the best place for employment and study and will make a significant contribution to increasing the well-being of the population of our country, first of all - Khashuri municipality," the college administration said.

Khashuri Vocational School will offer students professions adapted to the needs of the region - both long-term and short-term training programs, including electricity, stonework production, cooking, confectionery, information technology, welding, flooring, veterinary, beekeeping, horticulture, forestry and more.
