Vineyards to Plant in Kvareli Supported by Bank of Georgia
Bank of Georgia continues to support the agricultural sector. For this purpose, in cooperation with the bank, Saperavi vineyard was planted on 5 hectares of the village Chikaani, in the region of Kvareli.
The planting of the vineyards has already been finished and the entrepreneur, Naisi Khvedelidze expects to receive 70 tons of harvest in the fall of 2021. The total investment price of the project is 155,000 GEL, from which, Bank of Georgia's share is 100,000 Lari. 10 people are employed in the project.
"Bank of Georgia continues to finance agriculture aiming to support local production. Currently, the vineyard was planted on the 5 hectares of the territory in the zone of Kindzmarauli. Implementing such projects are important for the country since it will promote not only business development but also provide new workplaces. We actively continue to support businesses.", stated Merab Akhvlediani, Director of Mortgage and Consumer Lending Department at Bank of Georgia.
