Turkish Airlines to Renew Istanbul-Tbilisi Flights from June
Turkish Airlines will renew the flights which were temporarily canceled due to coronavirus in June, July, and August.
According to the 3-month schedule, airlines will be operating in 19 countries. Georgia is one of those countries in which Turkish Airlines plans to operate 4 times a week.
Istanbul-Batumi is not among the directions which are envisioned in the flights' schedule of June. Turkish Airlines was performing flights in the direction of Tbilisi from Istanbul Airport and Gokcen International Airport.
At this moment, tickets are available from only Istanbul Airport in the direction of Tbilisi.
The official announcement on the date of renewing flights is not made by the air company yet.
Turkish Airlines owned 11% of Georgia's air market according to the 2019 base.
