Tsnori Processing Enterprise to Produce 11 tons of Dried Fruit and Fruit Roll-ups
Badagi PLUS company has built a fruit processing plant in the city of Tsnori, The plant is equipped with cutting-edge technologies.
The company has invested 877 000 GEL in the project implementation, of which 438 000 was attracted as preferential agro loan and 350 000 is a state grant.
The plant will produce 11 tons of dried fruit and fruit roll-ups a year. The company employs 10 local residents.
“The plant was unveiled 3-4 days ago and it employs 10 persons, however, we plan to increase the number of employees to 30 persons”, Badagi founder Vakhtang Kajrishvili told BM.GE
Initially, the company will sell products on Georgian market, but Vakhtang Kajrishvili plans to grow investments and expand the output.
According to Agriculture Development Agency, about 75 agriculture enterprises have been arranged in Kakheti Region as part of United Agro Project program and with the financial support of the Government.
