Technological Services of VIBER App to be Provided from Georgia

Information technology services of the Viber application will be provided from Georgia.

Viber Media Sàrl, a company registered in Luxembourg, is the owner of 100% of the enterprise.

As it is known, according to the government's decree, the status of an international company in the field of information technology (IT) was granted to "Viber JEE" on April 8.

"Viber JEE" intends to provide its founding company Viber Media Sàrl with information technology services for the purpose of operating and developing the future activities of the Viber application.

The company plans to hire up to 50 employees by the end of 2022, including iOS and Android developers, as well as quality assurance staff and backend (JAVA) developers, according to a government release.

According to the resolution of the Government of Georgia, the status of an international company in the field of information technology (IT) was granted to "Viber JEE" LLC, which was registered in Georgia on April 8 of this year.
