Tech Park Telavi Hosts Innovative Camp “Innovators of the Tomorrow”

Tech Park Telavi of Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) has hosted a weeklong innovative camp “Innovators of the Tomorrow”.

12-13-year-old students of 14 public schools of Telavi Municipality (Akuri, Busheti, Gulgul, Vanti, Vardisubani, Tetritsklebi, Ikalto, Kisiskhevi, Kondoli, Kurdghelauri, Ruispiri, Kvemo Khodasheni, Karajli, Tsinandali) have taken part in the project.

For 7 days, the camp participants were involved in various activities. Lego Robotics and LittleBits workshops were held, as well as seminar “How to Set up Startup”, films on innovations and technologies, 4th industrial revolution was also demonstrated.

Electric engineer and trainer Mamuka Apakidze of Tbilisi TechnoPark and representatives of Vrex Immersive Inc and ATOM Kids startups held training for the camp participants. As part of the program, two pupils were selected from each school (28 pupils). Base knowledge of computer programs was one of the key criteria for selecting the pupils. The objective of the innovative camp Innovators of the Tomorrow is to develop digital skills and communications among young people.
