TAV Georgia to Start Preparation Works for the Extension of Batumi International Airport
TAV Georgia did not change its plans in spite of the crisis of COVID-19 and started preparation works for the extension of Batumi International Airport.
According to the company, they already defined the territory in Batumi International Aiport, where the excavation and construction works will be intensively started from July.
"The territory of Batumi International Airport has been already defined, where the excavation and construction works will be intensively started from July.TAV Georgia will make in investment worth of 14 Million USD in the Batumi International Airport extension project. Infrastructural works will be finalized before the end of February 2021. Following extension works Batumi International Airport will be able to provide services to 1 200 000 passengers a year.", wrote the company on their official Facebook page.
