SOCAR to Build Kindergarten in Village Kabala

On October 20, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) launched the construction of a kindergarten in the village of Kabala, Lagodekhi Municipality.

The ceremony of putting a special capsule was held at the construction site. The event was attended by SOCAR President Rovnag Abdulayev, SOCAR Investments Management Office Director Vagif Aliev, acting governor of Kakheti Region Irakli Shiolashvili, Lagodekhi Mayor Jondo Mdivnishvili, Lagodekhi District majority MP Guram Macharashvili and other officials.

The kindergarten will receive 100 children. The facility comprises 4 classrooms, buffet, kitchen, athletics, medicine and sleeping blocks, administrative and technical spaces, approach ramps, and sanitation spaces for children with disabilities. The buildings cover 1,242 square meters. The project’s investment value is GEL 2.72 million. The construction works will be finished in 8 months. SOCAR Energy Georgia will transmit the kindergarten to the Government free of charge.
