SHOPSHOP Announces its Entry into International Market by 2022
First online shopping mall Shopshop currently presents 44 stores, including Georgian and foreign brands.
Co-founder of the company, Levan Akhvlediani declares with BusinessPartner, customers can purchase products online from Mango, Armani Exchange, Evita Peroni, Kash Kash, Hummel, DIESEL, The North Face, Timberland, Rosebud, Gepherrini, and other startup companies or brands.
According to him, Calvin Klein and Benetton are in the process of integration.
The online shopping mall was launched 5 months ago, and it already managed to increase the rate of sale in January compared to December.
"We are not so popular, however, we work with marketers, so that to bring an awareness of the brand. The lockdown also had its effect, the malls were closed and this positively impacted our sales. It is significant, that the market of online sales increases, therefore, it offers customers high-quality and safe service. The company will become successful in a long-term perspective.", noted Levan Akhvlediani.
He also said that Shopshop is among the five startups from 300 companies chosen for the 100,000 GEL grant launched by Innovations and Technology Agency.
As for the future plans, the company aims to spend as many resources as possible on the Georgian market. They also envisage collaboration with 120 stores.
"We are planning a brand development, so that webpage can have its Russian and English versions. We also looking forward to entering the international market in 2022.", declares Levan Akhvlediani.
