Shno Exported Georgian Furniture into Canada

According to Givi Nioradze, the founder of the furniture manufacturing business "Shno," the company has been exporting Georgian-made furniture to Canada for the past three months.

According to him, the main determining factor for export is, on the one hand, the great interest of Canadians, and on the other hand, the preferential tariff for customs clearance.

"For the last three months, we have been actively exporting furniture to Canada, and we have set a goal to significantly increase this amount in 2023. If now, only 1% of our products are exported, we want to increase this figure to 20% this year. There is a lot of interest and high demand for our products from Canadians. The main reason for this, of course, is that they like our furniture. In addition, we have a very favorable customs clearance rate of only 2%. This is such a big benefit that our product has become quite competitive", Givi Nioradze says.

The furniture manufacturing company "Shno" has been operating in the market for 30 years and the Georgian brand produces MDF and solid wood doors and windows, furniture and profiles. In addition, it has been five years since the company started producing iron furniture. Currently, "Shno" is represented by one showroom in Tbilisi.
