Sewing Company Imeri to Cooperate with Moncler and Marks & Spencer

Georgian sewing company "Imeri" plans to cooperate with the international brand Moncler and Marks & Spencer.

Zaza Gvenetadze, deputy general director of the company noted, that the agreement is already formed with Italian Moncler, and an audit has been conducted. Therefore, the first collection will be delivered probably in September.

As for Marks&Spencer, audit is underway, after the completion of which a cooperation agreement will be signed between the Georgian company and an international brand.

Georgian company is expected to supply products to Marks & Spencer by the end of the year.

"Currently, we sew women's clothes for German Lebek and Joy Lucy. The products are fully exported.", noted Zaza Gvenetadze.

Sales were dropped by 25% during the pandemic.

However, Fabrika Imeri has 90-years of history, and for the last 25 years, it has been working on foreign clients. A very small part of production is sold in the locak market - Kutaisi.
