Salome Zourabichvili: Nobody Expects Any Measures that will Put Georgia in Danger

Nobody expects any measures that will put this country in danger, but all of us expect solidarity, - the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili said in a video address.

According to her, Georgia is in solidarity with Ukraine, which will be voiced once again in Paris and Brussels.

"Georgia's dignity has always been historical and even today we have been faithful to our principles and we have stood where Georgia should have been.

None of us expects any measures that will put this country in danger, but all of us expect solidarity - you expect, I expect, and I came here, today in Paris, tomorrow I will go to Brussels to express Georgian solidarity with Ukraine, at a time when Europe is united. We too must become part of this unity. Today is a window where Europeans are ready to look at the future of Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova differently. We must stand here and I want everyone to remember that Georgia, like Ukraine, is one of the countries that will be part of Europe tomorrow, a Europe that has shown its dignity, unity, active support for Ukraine. We are all grateful to Ukraine, which is fighting for our freedom, and we do not want another image of Georgia to appear in the international arena. We are a country that has historically been faithful to its principles," Zourabichvili said.
