Rompetrol Georgia Is Headed by New General Manager

Rompetrol Georgia is headed by new General Manager. Giorgiy Aiozba replaced Zamanbek Mirzayanov on the stated position. The changes in the company are related to the planned rotation of the management.

Giorgiy Aiozba has many years of experience working in the gas & oil business. He joined the team of Rompetrol Georgia in 2020 and held the position of Advisor to the General Director of Rompetrol Georgia prior to taking up the post.

“The new position is a big challenge for me. This is a great responsibility both in front of the state and  each customer.  Georgia is a very interesting and attractive country in terms of business development. As we all know, the pandemic has changed a lot, but I think crisis situations give us the opportunity to look at every process from a different angle which increases efficiency and opens up new opportunities. I’m a reformer by nature and I love it when my efforts yield results. There will be some novelties in the company, but our main course - to offer our customers fuel of highest standard European quality - will remain unchanged.” – says the General Manager of Rompetrol Georgia Giorgiy Aiozba.

The future plans of the new General Manager envisage the network expansion region-wide and development of the gas stations in new directions. With its new strategy, the company will offer additional services to customers that will make their travel even more comfortable. The new Borjomi gas station is the flagship, where a shop and gastro area will be opened soon.

Rompetrol Georgia has been developing steadily and successfully on the local market for 16 years already. It is one of the largest importers of fuel in Georgia and offers its customers the highest quality fuel of Euro 5 standard. Its owner Group, KMG International, with 6000 employees, operates in 11 countries of Europe and Central Asia and is one of the largest players in the Black Sea and Mediterranean regions.
