Restaurants of Tbilisi to Receive 5,000 GEL Financial Assistance from May 17

Restaurants located in Tbilisi will receive 5,000 financial assistance on May 17th from Georgian government.

"Subsidizing small and medium restaurants will start after the holidays. Documentation is currently being verified. Some have flaws and this process goes on. The money will be transferred to everyone, in total - to 400 restaurants. We are talking about 2 million GEL in total.", the City Hall announces.

In the March of 2020, the Tbilisi City Hall announced the subsidizing program for small and medium restaurant businesses. Financial assistance for the facilities was set at 5,000 GEL. However, in case of operation of more than one restaurant by one legal entity, financing amounts to 10,000 GEL. All objects registered before November 28, 2020, will receive the subsidy.
