Rehabilitation of Varketili Gorge Begins
Rehabilitation of the Varketili gorge starts in Tbilisi. A recreational park will be arranged on-site.
Construction works will be completed in the October of 2021.
"We had announced tender for the rehabilitation of Varketili gorge in Samgori district. There was a park earlier, however, today the site is in catastrophic condition. The existing area, which stretches over 13 hectares, is unhappy and destroyed. There will be seating areas, squares, attractions, sports fields, amphitheater, and fountain. We will renew the bicycle lane, and pedestrian bridge.", declared the Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze.
