Regulations that Closed Cafes and Restaurants will have to Follow

The Ministry of Health has developed several regulations for the prevention of Covid-19 for public catering facilities with closed space.

The document has already been sent to the representatives of the sector.

The facilities will have to accommodate tables and seating areas with the following requirements:

• Safe distance between tables, not less than 2 meters;

• A distance of at least 1 meter must be provided between users per table;

• The distance between the backs of the chairs is not less than 1 meter;

• No more than 6 users can be seated at 1 table; As an exception, it is possible to place family members and children under 12 at one table;

• If a safe distance of 2 meters cannot be maintained, a temporary protective barrier must be used.

• Closed spaces should be provided with natural ventilation.

• Guests should be offered a printed disposable menu. In case of offering an electronic menu, disinfectants should be placed near the menu board for sanitizing hands.

• In order to avoid direct contact of customers with bartenders in the service area (bar), beverage services must be provided individually, with a table delivery service.
