REDBERRY: We had 40% Increase in Revenue in the First Quarter, 25% Drop in the Second

"We had a 40% increase in revenue in the first quarter of the year, a 25% drop in the second quarter," Gaga Darsalia, managing partner of the creative agency REDBERRY said.

As Darsalia says, they do not face the need for direct assistance from the state today, and they find it more important to support the rest of the affected businesses, which will also have an indirect positive effect on the creative sector.

"We had a very good first quarter of this year in terms of revenue growth of about 40% compared to the first quarter of last year. In the second quarter, when the crisis hit the economy, we have a 25% drop in the first two months. As you know, The state's economic support program was aimed at the most affected sectors. The creative industry does not have a large share in the Georgian economy and, therefore, there has been no specific assistance to us.

We think that now it is actually more important for the country's economy to begin to work than for our sector to receive direct support from the state. It is indirectly our support to help the businesses in various sectors, ”said Gaga Darsalia, managing partner of the creative agency REDBERRY at BM.ge.
