Production of Yogurt to Start in Dmanisi from September

The production of yogurt with Swiss-Georgian technology will start in September in Dmanisi.

The Swiss agricultural school "Caucasus" implements the project, the founder of which is the former Minister of Agriculture and the owner of "Margebeli Holding" Mikho Svimonishvili.

According to the director of the school Tinatin Makharadze, the start of yogurt production was planned for this summer, however, due to the Russia-Ukraine war, the delivery/installation of the necessary equipment was delayed.

Four varieties of cheese are already manufactured in Dmanisi with Swiss technology. In addition, a school and a residential campus operate in the vicinity according to the Swiss vocational education model.
