Production of Anti-hail Nets Starts in Georgia
Production of anti-hail nets starts in Georgia. As Avtandil Maisuradze, the founder of the company "Agrobadi", noted, the machines from Germany and Thailand are already in the country and production will start at the end of September.
The company Antgeo, which activity is the installation of nets and irrigation systems, studied the market in this field. Production of nets was supposed to start in January 2021, however, it was delayed because of COVID-19 pandemic.
The total amount of investment is $0.5 million, and the enterprise will be able to employ 20 people. The project is supported by USAID.
