Plant Oil Company Qarva Expands Business

Plant oil company Qarva will buy around 10,000 tons of cereals from farmers a year. The concentrate feed enterprise will manufacture products for cattle, poultry, fish, and snails of only Georgian raw materials.

Located in Khobi, Samegrelo Region, the plant will supply products to the domestic market in 2020-2021 and launch exports in 2022.

As the company director Giorgi Tabagari told Business Partner, the company’s advantage is that its products ensure the natural growth of poultry and cattle. “We also plan to export our products to Azerbaijan and Armenia”, Tabagari said. The project’s total investment value is GEL 8 million. The company will employ 50 persons.
