Owners of Night Clubs and Bars to Ask for an Accessibility of Affordable Credit

"We submitted a letter to the Ministry of Economy with 1,500 signatures. The demand for the sector is paying it more attention and financial assistance.", declared Davit Lezhava, representative of the Georgian clubs and Association for Creative Industries.

As he noted, the tax breaks do not apply to them, since clubs and bars are closed.

"Assistance in the part of income tax was partially received to the sector. One of the requests was to postpone the income tax of non-residents. Everything is closed so far and the benefits received have no effect. Taking long-term and low-interest loans is the ability that would help the sector. We want a similar model of "Enterprise Georgia", which involves 90% state aid. This will allow businesses to go the bank and attract the loans.", noted Lezhava.
