Opening of Luxury Collection on the Green Cape Postponed until 2023

Completion of the construction of the 5-star Marriott Brand, Luxury Collection complex on Green Cape has been postponed until 2023, the Georgian Tourism Development Fund, part of the co-investment fund implementing the project, told Business Partner.

According to the foundation, the reason for the delay in completing the project is a pandemic, which has created some problems for the construction.

The 120-room hotel will house a spa, swimming pool, fitness center, restaurant, lounge bar, tennis, football and basketball courts, a kids' recreation area and additional spaces for business meetings and conferences.

The total cost of the project is $70 million.
