Opening of a $30 Million Hotel in Abastumani Postponed until 2024

In Abastumani, the construction Agobili Hotel is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2021, BM.GE was told by Redix in 2019. Redix had to adjust its plans for this particular project.

Today, the company announces that the opening of the 140-room premium-class hotel "Agobili" worth 30 million dollars is planned for 2024 in parallel with the opening of the resort.

"The hotel will be launched in parallel with the opening of the resort, which is the subject of negotiations between the state and the developers. Due to the severe epidemiological situation in the country, the construction work was carried out at a relatively slow pace, against the background of delays,''stated at Redix.

"Redix" explains that at this stage the amount allocated by the "Partnership Fund" for the project has not been used yet.

According to them, up to 100 people will be employed there after the opening of the hotel.
