Opening Ceremony of the Batumi Stadium Scheduled for September 12

The opening ceremony of the new stadium in Batumi is scheduled for September 12th, which will be attended by approximately 6,000 people.

The total price of investing in this project was 120,000,000 GEL, and it was implemented during the last two years. 

According to the documents published by the State Procurement Agency, 490,895 GEL will be spent on the opening ceremony of the stadium.

"Batumi Stadium is an important state facility, and the public interest in its opening is high, it will broadcast on television throughout the country. The opening of the stadium will promote the popularization of Georgian tourism potential and will strengthen its role as a safe destination.", the State Procurement Agency stated.
