Number of Employees and Turnover of Hotels/Restaurants in Georgia

According to Geostat, the national statistics service of Georgia, Georgia-based hotels and restaurants employ 40,621 persons, while the sector’s turnover in the fourth quarter of 2019 was 531 million GEL.
As for the 2018 turnover, the figure amounted to 1,811 billion GEL.
