New Sports Complex to Build in Akhaltsikhe

Financed by Asian Development Bank, Sports Complex will be built in Akhaltsikhe. 

The submission of bids ends on September 30th. The estimated cost of the purchase is 11,604,343 GEL. The company which will win the tender should build a sports complex in 18 months. 

The source of funding the project is the loan received by the Government of Georgia from the Asian Development Bank. 

The sports complex will include small and large swimming pools, exercise machines, weightlifting, boxing, and wrestling halls. Dressing rooms and showers will be provided for athletes, as well as coaches and referees. There will be an open cafe, a small shop, and a conference hall. All the working rooms, space, and technical storage necessary for functioning are provided. The area around the complex will be improved.

The project envisages building adaptation measures for people with disabilities.
