Neo Glass Company to Open Another Glass and Plastics Production Enterprise

Neo Glass company plans to open another glass and plastics production plant in Avchala as part of the Enterprise Georgia state program.

This project together with other similar projects will gradually replace imports with domestic products”, Economy Minister Natia Turnava noted when visiting Neo Glass company. Founded in 2017 the company has used Enterprise Georgia’s loan interest co-funding components and bought new high-technology machinery.

With the support of the National Property Agency, the Government has transmitted a corresponding land to the company to build the mentioned enterprise. “This is a new enterprise that opened as part of Enterprise Georgia program with the aim to replace the imports. The company produces high-quality products and gradually replaces imported analogs.

At this stage, the enterprise employs approximately 50 persons but plans to expand the business and we will support them in this regard. Neo Glass manufactures 8,000 square meters of glass a month and entirely sells the product on the domestic market. Investments in the enterprise exceeded GEL 1 million. Together with the Economy Minister, Deputy Economy Minister Irakli Nadareishvili and Enterprise Georgia agency director Mikheil Khidureli have also visited the enterprise.
