As Otar Simonishvili, the founder of the company, told bm.ge, 20,000 packages of ready- to-eat products have been sent to Canada. In addition, the company is in export negotiations with several countries, including Russia.

"We sent 4 types of vegetarian ready-to-eat packaging to Canada, including Ajapsandal, zucchini cream soup, beans and mushroom julienne, for a total of 20,000 packages. Now we are preparing a relatively large volume for Kazakhstan, in order to expand the export area, we are negotiating with other countries, including Russia," - explains Otar Simonishvili.

The founder of "National Delicacy" also talked to bm.ge about the impact of the pandemic and as he noted, the company has not yet reached the 2019 mark in terms of sales, but has managed to retain a key workforce.

"We worked only seven months this year, we were delayed for four months due to a pandemic, the agreements signed in Poland and Norway were canceled, but we managed to retain the staff as much as possible," Simonishvili said.

"National Delicacy", which produces a total of 14 products, has added 4 new products to the vegetarian line, which so far are sold only on the international market. In the near future, new products will appear in Georgian network markets.
