National Agency of Tourism to Start Inspecting Challenges in Svaneti

Monitoring Group of National Agency of Tourism of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development starts inspecting the territories in Svaneti in place to identify challenges of the current winter season.

Members of the group have already been in Bakuriani and Gudauri together with representatives of Mountain Resorts Company.

As the prime minister, Giorgi Gakharia noted, monitoring group has already been formed, which took action of coordinating the issues with appropriate departments.

The monitoring group holds meetings in Mestia with representatives of hotels, and tourism sector.

The monitoring group of the National Agency of Tourism moved to a continuous regime of communication with local municipalities and private sector.

The group was created by Prime Minister's order, to work on the issues related to identifying and solving the problems existed in the resorts.

At the beginning of the next week, they planned a working meeting in Svaneti. Within the frameworks of the meeting, Mariam Kvirivshvili, representatives of other departments and members of initiative groups of operating resorts will be part of the event.
