Multifunctional Center to Open in Didi Dighomi
A new multifunctional center will be built in Didi Dighomi. Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze and Deputy Tbilisi Mayor Andria Basilaia will attend the inauguration of construction work on July 15.
The multifunctional center will be built on 9,000 m2 space. The complex will serve 10,000 beneficiaries.
The Didi Dighomi multifunctional center will comprise:
• Playgrounds for football, volleyball, and basketball;
• Workout center
• Martial arts center for judo, wrestling, karate, boxing
• Fitness center
• Two swimming pools
• Café
• Sports Store
• Multifunctional library
• Conference hall
• Arts school;
• Space for bowling and table games;
• ]underground parking zone;
“It is noteworthy that similar complex is being built in Varketili too. Similar sports center did not exist in the country previously. This process expands access to services, popularizes healthy lifestyle and aims to attract young people to sport activities. The project implementation will be finished in 2021”, Tbilisi City Hall reports.
