Minecraft Education Edition Pilot Program to be Implemented in 150 Schools

Within the frameworks of The Education World Forum, Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Education, Culture and Sport met with representatives of Microsoft.

At the meeting, parties discussed the matters of opportunities increasing accessibility on Microsoft products, implementing pilot program of Minecraft Education Edition in schools and setting up Microsoft computer laboratories.

Representatives of Minecraft's department of Microsoft have considered an initiative of the Minister and expressed preparedness to start an active collaboration with Georgian party in the field of implementing pilot program of Minecraft Education Edition in 150 schools.
