Memorandum of Cooperation Signed between the Innovation Agency and EPAM Georgia
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency and EPAM Georgia.
According to the agency, the memorandum is aimed at facilitating the employment of participants in a training program for 3,000 IT specialists.
"The program covers 45 areas in the most in-demand professions today, which have already been successfully completed by 800 students, more than 700 students are undergoing training for this stage, and the remaining students are scheduled to be admitted in May.
The memorandum will exchange data on successful students who have expressed a desire to provide this information to potential employers, both in Georgia and abroad.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first case of successful cooperation between the public sector and the private sector in the field of training and employment of IT stakeholders. This field is developing daily in Georgia and gaining new scales. The interest of international companies in Georgian IT specialists is growing and the role of the state in supporting them is growing. One example of this is the training program for 3,000 IT specialists.
"Due to the high demand for graduates, it is planned to sign memoranda with other companies in the near future, expressing their desire to be employed," - said the agency.
