Marriott and Best Western Interested in 4-Star Hotel Management at Kutaisi International Airport

Several international brands have expressed interest in managing a 4-star hotel at Kutaisi International Airport.

As GDG Group founder Bezhan Tsakadze told Business Partner, Marriott and Best Western brands are among interested parties. “Many international companies are interested in this attractive location. We will select the best offer. However, we also think that Marriott prices may frighten many customers. Therefore, I give preference to Best Western. This brand offers lower prices. Let’s see what happens. No specific decision has been taken yet”, Bezhan Tsakadze noted.

At this stage, the hotel construction works proceed in the final phase. The hotel will open in summer 2021, but all other aspects depend on the epidemiological situation in the country, Tsakadze noted. The 5-storied hotel will comprise 120 suites on 12,000 square meters, as well as a restaurant, bar, and casino. Various other infrastructures may be also added to the complex. The project’s investment value is $8 million, Bezhan Tsakadze noted.
