Margebeli Holding’s Exports Decline by 14%

The January-July total exports of Margebeli Holdings have declined by 14%. The company manufactures agriculture products, bottles mineral, spring waters, energy drinks and juices, and exports products to 22 countries.

“Naturally, the global situation and the world pandemic frustrate the company plans to a certain degree. According to the January-July indicators, the holding’s total exports declined by 14%”, the company representatives noted and explained that this includes the product’s export portfolio produced by the Holding.

Despite the export contraction, the sales keep growing on the domestic market.

“The slowdown is rather reported in local spring waters: According to January-July indicators, sales on the Georgian market declined by 25%, but it should be also noted that the sales of Marneuli Food Factory, the holding’s member company, keep growing. Despite the pandemic, we have 30% upturn in the field of energy drinks, namely the Bugha brand, as well as RAUCH brand natural juices that are manufactured in Georgia at the Tskali Margebeli plant that also shows positive trend – 5% growth”, the Margebeli Holding representatives noted.

The company expects annual sales to decrease by 10%.

“Margebeli Holding is oriented on long-term results and on long-term perspectives. We make accents on future plans and growth. We appreciate stable and long-term relations with partner countries”.

We inform that in January-June 2020 Georgia exported mineral and spring waters worth $49.4 million, down 24.5% compared to the same period of 2019. In this period Tskali Margebeli is among top exporter companies that is a member of Margebeli Holding.

Today, the Holding produces various products under the brand of Nabeghlavi, GEO Natura, Rauch, Bugha, Marneuli Factory.
