Lileo - A New 4-Star Hotel and Winery Opens in Kutaisi

Kutaisi welcomes a new addition to its hospitality scene with the opening of Lileo, a 4-star hotel and winery located at Vazha-Pshavela #5. Operating for just a few days, the hotel features 16 high-standard rooms, along with a bar, restaurant, conference hall, and terrace, aiming to attract guests with its unique offerings and exceptional service.

Hotel manager Mariam Goletiani shared with BM.GE that while they are currently in the early stages of welcoming guests, they are optimistic about an increase in occupancy as the tourist season picks up. Active promotion efforts are underway, including negotiations with tourism companies to introduce more visitors to Lileo's charm.

"Lileo opened its doors in April, offering 16 top-tier rooms capable of hosting up to 45 guests. Room rates start at 150 GEL for a standard room with breakfast, with deluxe rooms available at 280 GEL. We're planning a range of activities, including weekly musical evenings and events, to enhance our guests' experience. Though not officially open yet, we are looking forward to our grand opening in the next two weeks, where we'll welcome future business partners from the tourism industry.

Adjacent to the hotel is our winery near Kutaisi, just a 20-minute drive away, where we produce our own wine and chacha. Guests interested in exploring the winemaking process can enjoy a tasting experience as part of their stay," Goletiani explains.

Currently employing 10 staff members, Lileo anticipates expanding its team as operations ramp up. A focus on staff retraining ensures that hotel employees adhere to the highest standards of service, ready to make Lileo a standout destination in Kutaisi's growing tourism landscape.
