Levan Davitashvili: We Strictly Control That Sanctioned Persons Do Not Enter Georgia

According to the Minister of Economy Levan Davitashvili, the regulatory bodies are vigilant so that the sanctioned persons do not enter Georgia and their businesses are traceable.

"International partners publicly announced and noted on private meetings with us, that Georgia is one of the countries in which international decisions are properly executed. For instance, the National Bank of Georgia has enforced decisions on sanctioned banks, including those which are operating in Georgia, and we have conducted the process so that Georgian citizens and businesses are not harmed. Georgia was part of these important sanctions or decisions and will continue so in the future as well.", noted Levan Davitashvili.
