Lacoaj Team Opened a Premium-class Garment Factory

After 2 years of work, the Lacoaj team has opened a new, premium-class garment factory. The company has introduced modern technologies in sewing, which allows it to receive large corporate orders.

"From the very first day we faced a lot of problems in the garment industry, mainly a quality problem, which pushed us to open our own enterprise and take care of the quality and look more in the domestic kitchen. At this stage we employ 7 people and of course we are going to gradually increase staff. In addition to sewing services, we offer printing and embroidery services, through which we create a completely branded product, "- explains Nikoloz Mikava, the founder of Lacoag with Business Partner.

For this stage, LJ FACTORY will serve Georgian brands. Active negotiations are already underway with several of them.

"Our main goal is to bring foreign brands to the Georgian market. We opened a sewing shop in Tbilisi. Due to the regulations our employees are not able to use the transport, so with increased costs we have to survive, which we hope will change soon.

"We participated in two grant competitions announced by Produce in Georgia and Danish Refugee Council. We have moved to the second stage in both competitions and we have high hopes that in the near future we will be able to win and expand the enterprise to increase production and sales, ”said Nikoloz Mikava.

Lacoaj has been producing clothes on the theme of the occupied territories for almost 2 years. The company has opened its first store after online sales. Negotiations are underway to enter the European market as well.
