Kuanysh Zholbarys Takes the Lead at "Rompetrol Georgia"
As of November 24, Kuanysh Zholbarys has been appointed as the new general director of "Rompetrol Georgia." With an impressive background spanning nearly two decades in diverse sectors such as transport, trade, and technology, Zholbarys is poised to drive the company’s growth in Georgia as a part of the KMG International group.
Zholbarys' career trajectory includes significant leadership roles, having served as commercial director, sales director, business development director, and regional director. Before stepping into his current role, he was the commercial manager at "Rompetrol in Georgia."
Part of the KMG International group, "Rompetrol Georgia" oversees an extensive network of 66 gas stations nationwide. The company is well-regarded in the local market for its supply of high-quality "Euro 5" standard fuel. It also manages key oil depots in Tbilisi and Batumi, with the latter situated at the strategic Black Sea oil terminal.
Since its inception in Georgia in 2005, "Rompetrol Georgia" has emerged as a significant employer, providing jobs to about 800 people in various roles.
