Italian company Sorma Group has developed 100% paper packaging for fruits and vegetables. The cellulose mesh helps to protect and breathe the products.

In addition, it allows the customer to see the product fully from the inside. The information about this is spread by the press service of FruitNews Sorma Group.

"With the new packaging line, we will change the quality of our products and focus on ecology, which is very important for our customers. We have been working in this direction for several years. We went from 60% -70% lightweight recyclable plastic to the new Sormapeel line, which is already patented. Eventually, we will move to fully composted packaging, ”said Andrea Casali, Sales Director at Sorma Group.

The Sorma Group has five packaging options: two types of PaperPillow, PaperStandup (with and without handles) and PaperVertbag.

Each model is made from FSC (Forest Board of Trustees) certified paper.
