Georgian sewing company "Imeri" has started cooperation with the international brand Marks & Spencer.
As Zaza Gvenetadze, Deputy General Director of the company, told Business Partner, the supply of women's clothes is already being carried out continuously.
As for the Italian Moncler, the contract has already been signed, an audit has been conducted, but due to the pandemic, the delivery of products has been delayed.
Gvenetadze hopes that the epidemiological situation in the country will stabilize and Georgian products will be sent to Italy in September.
According to him, the company currently sews women's clothes for Lebek as well. The company supplies coats, dresses, pants and jackets to the German brand. The products produced by the company are fully exported.
Imeri sewing factory has a history of 90 years, the enterprise has been working for foreign clients for the last 25 years. A very small part of the products is sold in the local market, in Kutaisi.
