IDS Borjomi Temporarily Suspends Production

The largest producer of natural mineral water and the leading manufacturer of natural bottled water in the CIS and Baltic States, IDS Borjomi temporarily suspended production. 

"We would like to inform you that IDS Borjomi Georgia has been in a difficult situation since the beginning of the military operations in Ukraine.

This period created in the main markets for the sale of the company's products was compounded by the limited access to bank accounts, which restricted the possibility for the company to receive foreign exchange earnings and settling with creditors.

The company has continued to operate until today in the hope of substantially rectifying the situation, which unfortunately has not been possible so far.

Due to the above, the company is forced to temporarily suspend the production process in both Borjomi bottling plants from April 29.

We hope that the situation will improve in the near future and we will have the opportunity to resume functioning.", the company noted in the public statement.

IDS has been operating on Georgian market since 1997.
