HELIOS ENERGY Starts Mega Project for Installation of Solar Power Stations

Helios Energy has launched a mega project for the installation of solar power stations, the company founder Tornike Darjania told Business Partner.

The objective of the project is to make as many citizens energy independent actors as possible, he said.

“Two requirements should be satisfied to install a solar power plant. The enterprise must consume over 7,000 kw/h a month and the roof should have at least 10% inclination to the south. The main thing is that the solar power station will be installed free of charge and clients can cover the leasing fee for 6 years. This value amounts to the electricity bill that a client would pay for the next 6-8 years. After this period, they will become owners of this solar power station”, Tornike Darjania noted.

Crediting institutions have engaged in funding the mentioned project. The objective of the company is to increase the number of solar power stations in Georgia. “Growing tariffs have increased interest in our products. Despite serious losses in 2020, the company remains profitable and we continue operation in the usual regime. We are meeting the year 2021 very positively”, the Helios Energy founder noted. Helios Energy launched its operation in 2017.

The company has already built solar power stations of 1.2 megawatts that generate annual 1.560 million kw/h.
