HCL Technologies is Looking into Entering Georgian Market
Global technology company HCL Technologies is considering entering the Georgian market.
According to the Ministry of Economy, Minister of Economy Levan Davitashvili met with Kalian Kumar, Head of Ecosystems at the World Economic Forum in Davos, to discuss the possibility of HCL Technologies entering the Georgian market and opening a branch to supply IT products to international markets.
According to the release of the Ministry, the meeting positively assessed the tax regime, which applies to IT companies operating in international status and provides tax benefits to them, which creates favorable conditions for global technology companies to enter Georgia and deliver their technology products to international markets.
The Georgian side invited HCL Technologies to study the local market and its investment opportunities in Georgia.
HCL Technologies operates in 52 countries around the world, including the United Kingdom, Germany, USA, Belgium, Israel, France, Lithuania, Finland, and others.
