Grand Kakheti's Macaroni May Enter Iranian Market

Georgian pasta production company "Grand Kakheti" may export its products to Iran.

According to the director of Grand Kakheti, Paata Mamisashvili, the company produces up to 5 types of macaroni and vermicelli.

Currently, the negotiations in terms of exporting production are underway and in case of its successful completion, Georgian pasta will enter the Iranian market by the end of the year.

By the end of the year, the company plans to double production (10 tons in 24 hours) and increase to 15 types of pasta. Grand Kakheti may also start producing spaghetti.
