Government to Ease Several Restrictions in March
Several coronavirus-related regulations are lifting in Georgia in March.
According to the decision initiated by the government of Georgia, trading centers, malls and markets will have permission to continue working on weekends from March 8th.
Within the framework of opening the economy, internal spaces of cafes and restaurants will be opened from March 1st in Batumi, and from March 8th - in the rest of the cities.
As for the mountain resort hotels, they will be able to continue functioning from tomorrow.
According to the new prime minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, ski lifts will open from March 8th, and intercity transport will launch from February 25th.
Conferences and training too will be resumed in accordance with the protocol from March 1st, the same goes for museums, libraries, and kindergartens.
The universities will resume in-person classes from March 15th.
Gyms will also renew operating from March 15th.
However, a curfew from 21:00 to 05:00 will stay in force.
